[R] fastest R platform: follow-up and summary

I think your case study illustrates a basic point: simulations are SLOW in
R/S. Not sure why, but it seems to be true. Luckily this problem
has not affected me. Doornik often points out how fast Ox is compared to
other matrix languages. You might need to use a tool other than R. One
possibility is to do some work with C and connect it to an R function.

Once I heard about an R compiler. Not sure what present status of that is.
