[R] R installation help

Hello.

I just installed R-1.2.2 for my ultra sparc running Solaris 2.6.
It compiled but it does not run at this point.
It complains as follows:

$ R
Fatal error: The X11 shared library could not be loaded.
  The error was ld.so.1: /opt/local/lib/R/bin/R.bin: fatal: libucb.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory

I thought that configure script took care of this sought of things, but
apparently not.
Any help and suggestion are greatly appreciated!
