Hi,

I believe Sven was asking about something else: he wants to add stuff
to a _specific_ plot.  That's what 'screen' and friends are for.
(Sven: just use '?screen' in an R session and all the relevant
commands along with examples will come up.) Sadly though, 'screen' has
sometimes failed me.
