[R] Holt-Winters code / package

I also would like to echo Peter and Roberts comments about the usefulness of the R
package tool. With a little investment it saves an enormous amount of time when there
is a new release of R. It runs tests to make sure your examples still work, and also
provides a great mechanism for running more extensive tests by putting them in the
tests subdirectory. Not only all this, but if you package it up well enough to
contribute it, then the core team (at least so far) has been running the checks on
your package before any new release, so any bugs in R that affect your code will be
fixed before you even know about them and you will get advanced warning when new
features of R show up bugs in your code.
