Hi Kenneth

Depends on what you are looking for, concerning methods for spatial data.

At CRAN you will find the packages:

1) spatial, by Venables & Ripley, as part of the bundle VR
This packages does some geostatistical and point process analysis

2) splancs by Rowlings, Diggle and ported by Bivand
For point process

3) sgeostats by Majure and proted by Gedhardt
For geostatistics

And outside CRAN I know about:

4) geoR by Ribeiro and Diggle,
For (model-based) geostatistics
available at: www.maths.lancs.ac.uk/~ribeiro.geoR.html
