[R] Are there binary for Caldera linux?

I think Caldera Linux is based on Debian, isn't it?  If so, you could
try to install the .deb files in the CRAN/bin/linux/debian directory.

Does Caldera have apt - the advanced package tool?  If so you can
follow the instructions in the README file in that directory to allow
seamless updates over the web.
