FWIW I found iODBC easier to setup (but even then needed an example
from Fritz to really get it working). It is probably easier to compile too.
It might be worthwhile adding simple examples for ~/.odbc.ini for both of
these libraries. I'd be happy to contribute one for iODBC.
According to the latest figures, 43% of all signatures are totally worthless.
