[R] Plotting symbols

Has anyone got a cute way of compiling a table of the available plotting
symbols?

I've been repeatedly pasting in

cno <- cno + 1
cno
plot(x,y,pch=cno)

which is tedious, and besides I have to note down the symbols by hand.
