[R] question

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am a Ph.D student in the Civil Engineering Department at UC Berkeley.
My work currently involves performing nonlinear regression analysis using the
random effects model.

(i.e : yij = f(xij) + ei + eij)

I would like to ask you whether the software R has a built in function to
perform non-linear regression
using a random effects model.
