Mmmno..? According to the web sites, the announcement of gcc 3.0.2 was
on Oct 25 and RH 7.2 on the 26th. Of course, RedHat owns what used to
be Cygnus and hosts most of the GCC developers, so the correlation is
likely to be close. Not too bad an idea actually, to put things in
sync so that the RedHat offering is not the official release plus
umpteen local workarounds. And the GCC guys probably know that they'll
have to support whatever ships with RedHat anyway.
