[R] No ESS process is associated with this buffer now

I use R with ESS in Emacs 21.2.1 on Windows NT. When I edit a function with
C-c C-d and then
try to load it back with C-c C-l, I get the following error. I know I can
use C-c C-b but anyway, it is a bug.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tsvetan
