[R] dos command line

What might be missing here is that you can put that stuff in a batch
file or edit the command in a shortcut or menu entry so that it
becomes completely invisible to the end user?

(BTW: Windows 98 itself insists that the Windows command line in the
black window is an "MSDOS prompt", so little wonder that users get
confused...)
