[R] Implementation of Gamma test in R available?

Is there an implementation of the Gamma test available in R?
This is an interesting statistics for non-linear modelling and
there is a commercial program available as *winGamma*.

It would be nice to have this approach or something similar
available in R. To do it myself I would need a good nearest
neighbor algorithm as _dist_ cannot be easily used: too slow,
too much memory required.
