[R]: plotting error bar in lattice

Does anyone have any experience in plotting error bars within lattice. I
have not
been able to find any examples in R or trellis docs. I believe it is
possible to
use lsegments() and larrows(). However, I have not been successful in my
efforts.

Could someone direct me to an example of how to do this?
