[R] Missing html documentation.

I just tried looking at the documentation on ``Writing R extensions''
using my web-browser. I clicked on the foregoing topic and
got the message ``The document contained no data ....''

Sure enough, when I investigated

	/usr/local/lib/R/doc/manual

all of the files there (from ``R-FAQ.html'' to ``R-lang.html'') were
empty --- there were files present, but all contained 0 bytes.

The files date from when I did the latest install (of 1.4.1) so
I must've screwed something up in the installation process.

	(a) What might I have screwed up? I'm pretty sure
	that I simply did

			./configure
			make
			make check
			make install

fairly mindlessly, and nothing untoward appeared to happen.

	(b) How might I get the appropriate files, rather than the
	empty ones, into /usr/local/lib/R/doc/manual? Preferably
without redoing the entire install procedure.

Thanks.

					cheers,
