[R] Re: help.start() problem with netscape 6.2.2 (was: R 1.5. 0 RPM's for Mandrake)

I suggest you take a look at the ultra-compact ultra-fast dillo web browser (http://dillo.cipsga.org.br) too.  I have sometimes found it handy to get help on R functions outside of R using this browser, by defining the "rhlp" command in Linux/bash as

dillo file:`locate -r "/usr/lib/R/.*/$1.html" | head -1` &

I'm sure you could use dillo from within R also.  -Frank
