[R] possible changed organization of help files in 1.5.0?

I suspect the following item from NEWS:

    o   If a directory 'inst/doc' is present in the sources of a
        package, the HTML index of the installed package has a link to
        the respective subdirectory.

(which was put in UTILITIES not DOCUMENTATION for some reason). There are
packages with PDF (and other) documentation installed in doc.
