Indeed, it seems to be at rank 841 among 1035 R/base commands (v1.5.1) with 12
occurrences. The most popular commands seem to be:

     1 2835	if
     2 1465	function
     3 1160	length
     4 972	c
     5 719	stop
     6 655	paste
     7 622	is.null
     8 464	.Internal
     9 456	names
    10 400	attr
    11 358	missing
    12 352	list
    13 324	rep
    14 300	any
    15 290	cat
    16 286	is.na
    17 272	return
    18 251	seq
    19 202	for
    20 193	par

If I didn't count them wrong.

cheers, jazza

And sorry for this useless message, but Martin Maechler's message about
underuse of `identical' caused a strange Friday reaction.
