[R] accolade

  That's great.  To some extent the learning curve is unavoidable, but are
there particular things you wish someone had told you early on, or
particular kinds of documentation that you would have found really useful?
What kinds of documentation did you read and find most useful?  (Intro to
R, MASS, on-line help, r-help list ...) The stage you are at is really
important; you've learned to use R and to see things from its point of
view, but (maybe) you haven't yet forgotten all of the details of what it
looked like when it was brand-new to you.
