Hello. I have checked the archives and have not found an answer. I am
doing a MANOVA used data with a nested design. Can anyone explain how to
specify different error structures in the manova function? For
completeness, I have a design consisting of 4 blocks with 4 treatments per
block (unreplicated within blocks). Each treatment is applied to a parcel
from which a series of soil cores are taken. 24 different variables are
measured on each core. I want to test for a block effect, a treatment
effect and for differences between cores within each parcel.
Any help or leads are appreciated.
