[R] rpart with large data sets.

Hello all,

When I ran rpart on my large data set ~(500 x 9000). R said:

cannot allocate vector of size 319401Kb.

What controls can be applied to rpart to make it as memory efficient as
possible?
so far I only have:

 maxsurrogate=0
