[R] minimal requirement

My R 1.8.0 installation (on Windows XP) requires 42 MB of disk space.
The R process, after starting, requires about 20 MB of virtual memory.

So I guess if you have about 60 MB free disk space
and about 40-60 MB available virtual memory
and enough patience,
you are ready to go for learning purposes.

What will probably happen is this:
a.) you will quickly like R
b.) you will find you want more RAM
