[R] log-linear contrasts

Dear list members,

suppose I have a one-way ANOVA where the explanatory variable is of 
class ordered(). How can I define, instead of the default linear, 
quadratic, cubic contrasts, a set of log-linear contrasts corresponding 
to logb(c(1,2,4,8,16,60)+1,2) ?
