[R] levelplot problems !!!

I assume that you somehow managed to use an old version of
"grid" or "lattice" instead of the ones that ``come with R 1.8.1''.

Can you try to look at 
    .path.package()

after library(grid) ; library(lattice) 
and make sure that both packages come from the same place as
"base" e.g. ?
