[R] additional graphical parameters in contour function

But these arguments do not refer to line types at all!

Use "lty" instead as in:

  x <- -6:16
  op <- par(mfrow = c(2, 1))
  contour(outer(x, x), method = "edge", lty=1)
  contour(outer(x, x), method = "edge", lty=2)
