[R] 2.3.0 glitch on OS X

	Perhaps it is just a glitch in the GUI as it does not happen in the  
console version.
	Calls to demo() without arguments and help(packages=X) return  
nothing in the GUI but work in the console.  I d/l'd the new 3114-2.3  
GUI app (the version just says 3114).
