[R] Coefficients of a 2-argument generating function

How can I, starting from a vector "v[1:n]", efficiently compute the 
coefficients of a 2-argument generating function:

(1+x^v[1]*y)*(1+x^v[2]*y)*...*(1+x^v[n]*y)

and put them in a matrix.
