[R] displaying the means on a scatter diagram

Hello,

I created a simple scatter diagram:

x= c(53, 52, 55, 65, 71, 69, 75, 78, 88, 70)
y= c(162, 165, 165, 171, 173, 175, 179, 181, 184, 176)
plot(x, y)

Now I would like to display the mean on that diagram.

Can anyone tell me what possibilities I have to do that?
