hi, R-ers

Can anybody tell why
------
String cmd = new
String("scan(\"tes.txt\",skip=1,nlines=1)");

double[] d = (double[]) c.eval(cmd).getContent();
------
fail
while
------
double[] d = (double[])
c.eval("rnorm(100)").getContent();
------
succeed?

Seems the only difference is the first command has
quotes inside the command and the second command does
not.
