since 'glm' is an object, just type its name at the command prompt:

    model = TRUE, method = "glm.fit", x = FALSE, y = TRUE, contrasts = NULL,
    ...)
{

    if (is.function(family))
        family <- family()
    if (is.null(family$family)) {
        print(family)
        stop("'family' not recognized")
    }
 ...
