[R] Installation of packages via GUI, Mac OS X

I'd suggest taking this question to the R-sig-mac mailing list

  (List-Subscribe:

and you will get asked for more information, including at least the 
output of sessionInfo(), and probably also the version number of the 
GUI, which is not the same as the R version number.
