I think not. Rather it was the "advertising clause" that

3. All advertising materials mentioning features or use of this software
   must display the following acknowledgement:
     This product includes software developed by the University of
     California, Berkeley and its contributors.

This, if generalized to multiple contributors, could imply that a
full-page ad for an open-source product would be half-filled with
acknowledgements...
