[R] any package to do generalized linear mixed model?

  lme4 will do gamma, but not negative binomial.
 glmmADMB will work, as will gnlmm (from Jim Lindsey's
repeated package), but you can glmm.admb will only
use a single random factor and gnlmm will only
do random-intercept models.
