[R] R running as a server on windows?

I, for one, don't fully understand the question, and while there are many on this list that are much smarter than I am, they may also have trouble understanding the question.

At first glance it looks like you are asking if R runs on Windows XP (the answer is yes, but this seems to simple to be the real question).

Are you asking about knime?  Then you should ask on a forum about knime.

If you are asking about ways to run R as a server on a windows machine, then look at the nws package.  It takes a bit of setting up (including installing python and some addons to that, starting a server, etc.), but may do what you want.  I have no idea if it interacts with knime at all.

If this does not help, then try rephrasing the question or asking somewhere where there are more knime users,
