[R] Regular expression substitution ...

It's a bit strange:

 > sub("/pc", '\\%', x)
[1] "%"
 >
 > sub("/pc", '\\\\%', x)
[1] "\\%"

Also with fixed I'm not able to get a single \ as return value.
