A guess, as I don't know STATA:

?lme (library(nlme) first)

(also perhaps anova with an "Error" term -- ?anova)

But:

R is not STATA
R is not SAS
R is not SPSS
...

R is R
So do not expect the same paradigms to hold; but because R IS R, one can
always program ways to make them hold.

In STATA there is command which has regression with clustering option. Can
anyone tell me what is the command for the same in R

for example in STATA

its regress Height Weight, cluster(id)
