[R] Writing Reports from R in Microsoft Office Open XML format (follow-up)

I believe that their approach is based on DCOM and the post was about Office Open XML.
We have had the ability to do this via DCOM for at least 6 years, but unfortunately
DCOM is limited to Windows.
