[R] Creating a table with median for multiple variables

Need to put all the parties together and calculate the median for each
party's 1stvote. Thanks a lot for your response Jim. I spent a long time
trying to do this last night. Do I have to use a command so that R
recongnises each party label (ff, sf etc etc)?
