[R] multi process support in R

He said 'pc' in the part you excised, but failed to follow the posting 
guide and tell us his OS.  I am guessing this means Windows, on which 
multicore does not run.

There are several other solutions on CRAN: I'd suggest 'snow' which 
can run over sockets on a single Windows machine, and also (with a lot 
more difficulty) via Rmpi.
