Will this do:

> m<-matrix(c(".:0:0,0", ".:2:0,2", ".:194:193,1", ".:56:0,56", ".:58:50,8", ".:13:0,13", ".:114:114,0", ".:75:75,0"), nrow=2)
>
> m
     [,1] [,2] [,3] [,4]
[1,] ".:0:0,0" ".:194:193,1" ".:58:50,8" ".:114:114,0"
[2,] ".:2:0,2" ".:56:0,56" ".:13:0,13" ".:75:75,0"

> sub("^\\.:[^:]*:", "", m)
     [,1] [,2] [,3] [,4]
[1,] "0,0" "193,1" "50,8" "114,0"
[2,] "0,2" "0,56" "0,13" "75,0"
