[R] R-3.0.1 g77 errors

I am trying to build R-3.0.1 on our SPARC Solaris 10 system, but it
fails part way through with g77 errors. Has anyone run into this? Any
suggestions? For what it's worth, R-2.15.1 is the last one to build
error free for us.
