[R] acf(ts.union()): Missing Values in Object

   Trying to specify the plot method, I try:
plot.zoo(acf(ts.intersect(s95ec.z, s95tds.z)))

which reduces the error to the puzzling:

Error in .cbind.ts(list(...), .makeNamesTs(...), dframe = dframe, union =
FALSE) :
   no time series supplied

because zoo is a time series class, or so I thought.
