[R] readxl issue

I don't have access to Excel, so can't test this.

I have a suspicion that the problem is not readxl.
But rather the "as.data.frame" step.

Try reading one file at a time.
And inspect (1) your immediate object after reading the Excel file,
and then (2) the data.frame after the as.data.frame call.
