[R-gui] 100% CPU when running (cran2deb) JGR on Debian

I get exactly the same problems as Liviu described in earlier posts.
When opening JGR one of my CPU's goes to 100%, but clicking Help/About
brings it back to normal. I'm under Ubuntu Jaunty.
