Hello all, today I downloaded the lastest release of biobase for win32. =
I have R version 1.4.1.

When I went to the window option to install the package from zip it =
installed the file in the correct place. Then when I went to the window =
option to load the package I recieved the following error:

Loading required package: methods=20
Creating a new generic function for "[[<-" on element=20
2 of the search path=20
Making a generic for special function "[[<-"=20
Creating a new generic function for "[[" on element 2=20
of the search path=20
Making a generic for special function "[["=20
Expanding the signature to include omitted arguments=20
in definition: j =3D "missing"=20
Creating a new generic function for "length" on element=20

Making a generic for special function "length"=20
Creating a new generic function for "[" on element 2=20
of the search path=20
Making a generic for special function "["=20
Error in conformMethod(signature, mnames, fnames) :=20
Method has formal arguments not in generic function: file, =
append, quote, sep, eol, na, dec, row.names, col.names, qmethod
Error in library(pkg, character.only =3D TRUE) :=20
        .First.lib failed

because of this error the package could never attach itself. Does =
anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

Thanks
Joshua Betcher
