[BioC] chromosome arms missing from Affy's Mapping 500K Array Set SNP chips?

>From inspecting the files Mapping250K_Nsp.na22.annot.csv and
Mapping250K_Sty.na22.annot.csv, which I downloaded from the Affy web site, it
seems to me that Affy's Mapping 500K Array Set SNP chips do not probe the p arms
of chromosomes 13, 14, 15 and 22.

Is that right?
If so, does anyone know why that is?
