Hi Bioconductors,

Good news for 64-bit Windows users! Thanks to Arnaud Droit from
Raphael Gottardo's lab (and to Brian Ripley and Uwe Ligges who
provided essential information to help solving this issue),
a 64-bit version of the GSL (GNU Scientific Library) is now
installed on gewurz, our 64-bit Windows build machine.

This means that 11 more Bioconductor packages are now available
on Windows 64-bit (i.e. 360/389 packages vs 380/389 for 32-bit
Windows):

   GLAD
   flowClust
   MotIV
   PICS
   rMAT
   affyILM
   snapCGH
   beadarraySNP
   flowMerge
   ITALICS
   MANOR

Reminder: Windows 7 is 64-bit and both 32-bit R (available
here http://cran.fhcrc.org/bin/windows/base/) and 64-bit R
(available here http://cran.fhcrc.org/bin/windows64/base) run
on that OS. If you don't know which one is for you, please
read:

http://cran.fhcrc.org/bin/windows/base/rw-FAQ.html#Should-I-run-32_002dbit-or-64_002dbit-R_003f

Cheers,
H.
