Hm.
I tested the same thing on a NT4.0Sp5 now: R crashes here also (after
using 'hhupd.exe').
So this is no problem with SP6 only! 


Note: I have used german versions of NT4, Sp5 or 6, IE3 and 'hhupd.exe'.

So is there anyone having installed english versions of these (and not
IE4 or 5)? 
Is it possible to reproduce the crash on such a system?

I took a version of SP6 without IE5-update.
