[Rd] wine and build difference between R.2.4.0 and R 2.4.1 windows binaries?

Thanks for the offer; but I think wine should cope as anything runs 
under windows should run, so I am inclined on playing with wine a bit to 
see if I can get it to tell me a bit more about what it is not
happy about 2.4.1. wine just should not be sensitive to mingw versions.
