[R] Multivariate response trees

Gerard,

Thank you very much for pointing this out. Yes, PolyMARS is close to
what I need, and is available in R as Prof. Ripley points out. So is 
mars, in package mda, which I have also looked at. It seems to me that 
both allow multivariate responses, but do not take into account their
correlation structure. Perhaps someone can correct me on this.
